Absentee Voting (early voting)

Weeks One and Two of Voting (beginning with the day after the close of registration for the election, except any holiday established by state law)

• 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday

• 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on each weekday (Monday through Friday)

Absentee Voting – By Mail

Your application to receive a ballot must be received by mail no later than the Saturday before the election at 12:00 noon. For more information on Absentee voting click here. Request your absentee ballot by clicking here.

Requested Ballots will be sent out the day after the registration deadline.

  1. Enter your name and click on “submit”.
  2. Click on “print absentee request”.
  3. Type in the required information.
  4. Print, sign and date the form.
  5. Mail the form to our office.
  6. You’re done!

Recount Democratic Central Committee – 2 Races

Results of the Recount

Prior to certification the Board resolved two tie votes by the flip of a coin. The results of the Official Results were certified. An automatic recount was ordered as required. The results of the recount were identical to the Official results. The declared winners chosen by Lot are the elected candidates.

If more than the number of candidates to be elected to an office received the largest and an equal number of votes, such tie shall be resolved by lot by the chairman of the board in the presence of a majority of the members of the board. Such declaration shall be in writing and shall be signed by at least a majority of the members of the board. – ORC 3505.33
